Sharks
As anyone diving in the world I've seen, and have been bothered by, a lot of sharks. A couple of time, anyway, I've been so lucky to see and be in awe of some wonderful one.
The first one was an incredible, big, beautiful, powerful White Shark, seen in the Mediterranean Sea. I've also been able to take some underwater pictures of the beast and, of what I know, THEY'RE STILL THE UNIQUE UNDERWATER PICTURES SHOT IN THE MED SEA AT A GREAT WHITE.
The second one was a Tiger Shark, in Australia, near Shark Bay (strange thing, isn't it?). Here the pictures, taken by me and by my friend Greg Pickering, were WONDERFUL. The shark was near us for almost twenty minutes, and Greg even managed to take a picture of the monster in the moment of the swallowing of our
fish!
Come chiunque si immerga in giro per il mondo ho visto, e sono stato scocciato da, un sacco di squali. Un paio di volte, tuttavia, sono stato così fortunato da vedere e da meravigliarmi di qualcuno
straordinario.
Il primo è stato un incredibile, grande, potente Squalo Bianco, visto nel Mar Mediterraneo. Sono stato anche in grado di scattare qualche fotografia subacquea e, per quanto ne so, SONO ANCORA LE UNICHE FOTO SUBACQUEE DI UNO SQUALO BIANCO PRESE IN MEDITERRANEO.
Il secondo è stato uno Squalo Tigre, in Australia, vicino alla Baia degli Squali (che strano, eh?). In questo caso le fotografie, prese da me e dal mio amico Greg
Pickering, sono state MERAVIGLIOSE. Lo squalo ci è rimasto vicino per quasi venti minuti, e Greg è perfino riuscito a catturare in fotografia il momento in cui il mostro inghiottiva i nostri pesci!
